Episode 106: The One With The Butt
Only annotated lines are quoted below, not the entire script
| # | Speaker | Line |
| 1 | Written by | Adam Chase & Ira Ungerleider Transcribed by: guineapig |
|---|
| 60 | Chandler | Alright. Once I got on the subway, right, and it was at night, and I rode it all the way to Brooklyn... just for the hell of it. |
|---|
| Observation: In Episode 705: The One With The Engagement Picture, line(s) 223, Chandler takes the subway to Brooklyn and says it's far. Actually, he's done this before, as he tells Aurora in the lines above. |
| Episode 705, Lines 223-223 |
| 223 | Chandler | Yeah, and then I fell asleep on the subway and went all the way to Brooklyn. Brooklyn is f-far!! |
|---|
| |
| 138 | Joey | ...I'm his butt double. 'Kay? I play Al Pacino's butt. Alright? He goes into the shower, and then- I'm his butt. |
|---|
| 139 | Monica | (trying not to laugh) Oh my God. |
|---|
| 140 | Joey | C'mon, you guys. This is a real movie, and Al Pacino's in it, and that's big! |
|---|
| Observation: Joey seems to be indecisive about nudity. In Episode 719: The One With Ross and Monica's Cousin, line(s) 17-22, he's worried about full frontal nudity, partly because his grandmother will watch the movie. In Episode 204: The One With Phoebe's Husband, line(s) 50-51, we find out he was in a porno (but couldn't go through with it). In the lines above, he doesn't seem to have a problem with nudity (though it's admittedly not full frontal), or even his mother seeing him (Episode 106: The One With The Butt, line(s) 231-234). |
| Episode 719, Lines 17-22 |
| 17 | Estelle | Theres just one thing. Do you have a problem with full frontal nudity? |
| 18 | Joey | Are you kidding me? I never rent a movie without it! (Listens) Oh. (Listens) Uh, okay uh let me call you back. (Hangs up.) |
| 19 | Phoebe | Whats the matter? |
| 20 | Joey | They want me to be totally naked in the movie! |
| 21 | Monica | Wow! |
| 22 | Joey | I know! My grandmothers gonna see this! |
|---|
| Episode 204, Lines 50-51 |
| 50 | Ross | You were in a porno? |
| 51 | Joey | Ahh, alright, alright, alright, I was young and I just wanted a job, OK. But at the last minute I couldn't go through with it so they let me be the guy who comes in to fix the copier but can't 'cause there's people havin' sex on it. |
|---|
| Episode 106, Lines 231-234 |
| 231 | Joey | Yeah, they said I acted too much with it. I told everybody about this! Now everybody's gonna go to the theatre, expecting to see me, and... |
| 232 | Rachel | Oh, Joey, you know what, no-one is gonna be able to tell. |
| 233 | Joey | My mom will. |
| 234 | Chandler | Something so sweet and...disturbing about that. |
|---|
| |
| 175 | (ACTION) | Joey starts to the shower with a grim, determined look on his face. |
|---|
| Nitpick: In the lines above, Joey's shadow clearly shows he's wearing shorts, and isn't really naked (below: Joey's shadow wearing shorts from this episode). [This annotation came from another source, and I am in the process of properly crediting it. It is it not something I annotated myself] |
